I feel like both boys are growing up too fast! Luke is now 6 months old and was 18 lbs at his check up. He is sitting up on his own but does still topple over so I have to sit behind him. He is still a horrible sleeper so I am worn out but hopefully we can slowly work towards more rest for both of us. We have had a great start to the spring and I am so so happy for warmer weather so Hudson can be outside and play more! I am also hoping we can utilize the outdoors to do some potty training boot camps. :) Here is what we have been up to the past few weeks:
We celebrated Bizi Kidz 7th birthday with aunt Becca! Hudson got to decorate a #7 cookie. Don't know what we would do without aunt Becca or Bizi Kidz.
Flash back to Bizi Kidz 5th birthday when Hudson was just 13 weeks old! Time flies.
Luke is on the move! I laid him down on the colorful blanket and turned around for a second.
We celebrated Easter at Grandma's house. This was a sucker that looked like a bunny nose.
He also got some play dough from Grandma for Easter. He is pretty good at spelling his name out loud but aunt Becca helped him with these letters.
Luke's present from the Easter Bunny.
Hunting Easter Eggs in the yard.
Hudson actually thought that the Easter Bunny was going to be in the house when he woke up. He kept looking out the window asking where he was.
Coloring Easter eggs at Grandma's house.
Checking out his basket from the Easter Bunny.
Cute centerpieces that mom made for Easter.
Luke's first Easter!
Me and my boys
Hudson loves to bring me flowers. He always wants me to put them in my hair.
We are singing in these pictures because it was the only way to get them to sit still.
Hudson is jamming.
Hudson Easter 2013-not a fan of pictures.
Hudson on Easter 2012
What a difference a year makes. Luke looks like he is enjoying brother time.
Hudson "doing some work" with Daddy.
Hudson was sick for part of his spring break so he laid around the house for a few days and even got his first popsicle. He called it a "lollipopsicle."
He wasn't feeling great on day 2 but did want to "sit" outside.
His serious look is pretty cute.
Testing out reading glasses.
Luke is happier standing.
Sitting up!
Yep-He is wearing a necklace. It is an Amber necklace that is supposed to help with teething pain. The jury is still out as to if it is working or not but I am desperate for anything that might lead him to sleep a little better. We will see...
Luke just being cute. His hair is getting a little bit lighter. I don't think he will be a blondie like Hudson but it might be lighter than I thought.
Can't believe it has been half of a year!
Hudson woke up from his nap while I was trying to take a few pictures of Luke so he decided that he needed to take some pictures too. He is starting to pay more attention to Luke and loves to make him laugh. Hudson has a little baby doll in his crib that cries and when he lays down for a nap he talks to the baby doll just like I do to Luke. He pats him on the back and says, "I know baby Luke, don't cry" "It's O.K." "Do you want a paci?" It is so sweet.
Two healthy, happy boys. Life is good.
